Integrated Voices Consultation Events

  • Do you hear voices or support someone who hears voices?
  • Have you ever looked online to find good quality information about voice-hearing?
  • Are you Black, Asian or from a minority ethnic community?

Hearing the Voice at Durham University is working with members of the voice-hearing community to develop Integrated Voices – a new web resource to help people find clear, balanced and comprehensive information about voice-hearing.

In October 2017, we held a series of consultation events in Bradford, London and Newcastle in order to gather views on how to make the website as useful as possible. We are now holding two more events in Bradford and London, where we’d particularly like to hear from voice-hearers from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities and the families, friends and professionals who support them.

Event details:

Wednesday 31 January 2018, 3-4pm
Sharing Voices Bradford
10 Mornington Villas
Bradford, BD8 7HB

Wednesday 7 February, 6-8pm
Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre
5 Glasshouse Walk, Lambeth
London SE11 5ES

The events are facilitated by members of the Hearing the Voice team. They will help us understand what the website will include and how to develop the best resource possible. If you can’t make it, we warmly invite you to help shape the project by completing our online survey.

You can register to attend either of these events here. Local travel expenses will be reimbursed.

We hope to see you there!
