The Psychosis Research Unit is delighted to announce that we are holding a two day event to bring together people with lived experience of psychosis, clinicians, academics and researchers to exchange and present cutting edge research, theory and practice on the topic of stigma and empowerment. The mission of the conference is to share promising practice and disseminate scientific research. The event will raise awareness of how societal and internalised stigma affects the lives of people who experience psychosis and increase skills to challenge and overcome stigma.
The ‘Challenging the Stigma of Psychosis Conference’ will take place on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th March 2016 at The Curve, Prestwich, Manchester, M25 3BL.
** Demand is expected to be high, so please book early to avoid disappointment. **
