Are you a young person or parent or carer of a young person who hears voices or sees things that other people don’t? If so, then you might be interested in the following workshops run by Voice Collective.
FREE Drama & Design Workshop for Young People
Saturday 9th March 2013, 1.30 – 4.30pm at Young Minds, Suite 11, Baden Place, Crosby Row, London SE1 1YW (Tube: London Bridge)
Make a story come alive! Come along and have fun taking a story from the page and turning it into drama. Experiment with what directors, actors, set designers, and costume designers might need to think about in order to put on a performance.
This workshop will be a chance to try out different aspects of planning and performing a piece of drama: from sketching, experimenting with mood, colour, and setting – including researching references and images online – to thinking about the background, motivation, and feelings of characters, as well as what they look like.
The workshop is open to any young person (aged 18 or under) who hears or sees things that other people don’t.
FREE Parents Support Workshop
Saturday 9th March 2013, 1.30pm – 4.30pm at Young Minds, Suite 11, Baden Place, Crosby Row, London SE1 1YW (Tube: London Bridge)
At the same time, in the same venue, Voice Collective will also be running a support workshop for parents/carers of children and young people who hear voices or see things that other people don’t. Parents and carers are welcome whether or not their child is attending the Drama and Design workshop.
