Hearing the Voice would like to draw your attention to the upcoming ‘Hearing Voices and Emotions’ workshop, which takes place in Oxford on July 5 (2-5PM). This event is affiliated with the Educational Voice-Hearing Network in the Collaborating Centre for Values-based Practice in Health and Social Care (St Catherine’s College, Oxford University).
The timetable is as follows:
2PM: Outline of the afternoon from Dr Roz Austin
2.10PM: Pauline Fair (Support Training and Recovery Systems). ‘Voices as a Coping Mechanism’.
2.50PM: Dr Roz Austin (Durham University). ‘Voices and Emotions: considering voice-hearers’ experiences’. A presentation about Roz’s doctoral research.
3.30PM: Coffee break
3.50-4.10PM: Dr Roz Austin. ‘Emily’s Voices’: a memoir of psychosis and recovery’. This book will be on sale at the workshop.
4.10PM: Pauline Fair and Dr Roz Austin. Introducing the Educational Voice-Hearing Network
