The Hearing the Voice project team is looking to appoint a Project Coordinator to start from 1 October 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Working closely with the project Co-Directors, the post-holder will be responsible for managing this ambitious, interdisciplinary project and for helping to develop the local, national and international profile of Hearing the Voice. We are looking for someone who is keen to work with a dynamic, interdisciplinary research team and to play a key role in ensuring the overall success of the project.

The Project Coordinator’s main responsibilities will include: coordinating the project team to meet agreed project targets and milestones; liaising with relevant administrators in participating departments to monitor project expenditure and to manage the project budget; ensuring efficient and effective communication ‘internally’ and ‘externally’ with project partners and stakeholders (including mental health service users, clinicians and academic researchers); event management of project meetings, workshops, and conferences; developing the project web site and optimizing the dissemination of information through digital publications and social media; and coordinating the production of reports to funding bodies. The Project Coordinator will also line manage a Project Assistant (part-time, to be apppointed).

This is a fixed-term, part-time post (1st October 2012, or as soon as possible thereafter, to 30th September 2015). The post-holder will work 21 hours Monday – Friday with days of work to be negotiated.
